AIDESARROLLO (ADEFIS) has been invited to participate in the European Seminar: Tackling EUROPE 2020 Target: Early Leavers from Education and Training, on school drop-out that has been held from November 11 to 15 in Malta.

Early school leaving is an obstacle to European growth and employment. For this reason, the European Union has set the objective of reducing the school dropout rate by 10% in all member states by the year 2020.
En 2014, el Ministerio de Educación y Empleo de Malta ha lanzado un plan estratégico para luchar contra el abandono escolar ya que Malta estaba situada en un 20,9%, la segunda más alta de la Unión Europea. Por esta razón, la Agencia Nacional de Malta ha organizado este seminario con el que pretende promover el programa Erasmus+ como un medio para lograr estos objetivos.
In 2014, the Ministry of Education and Employment of Malta has launched a strategic plan to combat school drop-out since Malta was situated at 20.9%, the second highest in the European Union. For this reason, the National Agency of Malta has organized this seminar with which it intends to promote the Erasmus + program as a means to achieve these objectives.
