El proyecto BADMINTON VS RADICALIZATION nace gracias a la experiencia de AIDEJOVEN en el desarrollo de proyectos de integración y tolerancia en contextos escolares en la Comunidad de Madrid, y está cofinanciado por la Unión Europea. El objetivo del proyecto es prevenir la radicalización de los jóvenes de Parla (Comunidad de Madrid) a través del deporte al mismo tiempo que se organizan talleres dirigidos a promover la integración, la diversidad, el entendimiento de culturas, el compromiso y la igualdad de género.
The BADMINTON VS RADICALIZATION project was born thanks to the experience of AIDEJOVEN in the development of integration and tolerance projects in school contexts in the Community of Madrid, and is co-financed by the European Union. The aim of the project is to prevent the radicalization of young people in Parla (Community of Madrid) through sports while organizing workshops aimed at promoting integration, diversity, understanding of cultures, commitment and gender equality .
La duración de este proyecto es de un año, de febrero a diciembre de 2018 y se realizará en Parla. Las actividades que se realizarán son: Liga de Bádminton de Febrero a Junio, premio de un viaje a Bruselas en Junio y por último, Jornadas de difusión del proyecto de Septiembre a Diciembre y Maratón de Bádminton en Diciembre.
The duration of this project is one year, from February to December 2018 and will take place in Parla. The activities that will be carried out are: Badminton League from February to June, prize of a trip to Brussels in June and finally, Days of dissemination of the project from September to December and Badminton Marathon in December.
Además de la competición deportiva, se fomentarán dos concursos de carácter más creativo. Durante la segunda semana del inicio del proyecto, cada pareja creará un diseño de logo del proyecto, el cual aparecerá en todo el proceso de difusión de las actividades deportivas y un diseño de equipación, que vestirán durante el campeonato. Estos dos concursos se decidirán por medio de la votación de los mismos participantes.
In addition to the sports competition, two more creative contests will be promoted. During the second week of the start of the project, each couple will create a logo design of the project, which will appear throughout the process of disseminating sports activities and a kit design, which they will wear during the championship. These two contests will be decided by means of the vote of the same participants.
El premio del proyecto será de un viaje a Bruselas para realizar una visita a las instituciones europeas. Viajarán 5 parejas, 10 jóvenes en total y tendrá lugar a finales de Junio.
The prize of the project will be a trip to Brussels to make a visit to the European institutions.
5 couples will travel, 10 young people in total and will take place at the end of June.
De manera paralela al desarrollo de las actividades deportivas, se realizarán 7 talleres en los que se trabajen distintas dinámicas encaminadas a apoyar los procesos de desradicalización. Para ello, se tendrá muy en cuenta la diversidad cultural de las personas participantes y se fomentará enormemente el compartir experiencias y proyectos entre ellas. Los temas que se tratarán en los talleres son: diversidad cultural, sueños y perspectivas de futuro, igualdad de género, redes sociales y detección de la radicalización, entre otros.
Parallel to the development of sports activities, there will be 7 workshops in which different dynamics aimed at supporting deradicalization processes will be carried out. For this, the cultural diversity of the participants will be taken into account and the sharing of experiences and projects among them will be greatly encouraged. The topics that will be discussed in the workshops are: cultural diversity, dreams and future perspectives, gender equality, social networks and detection of radicalization, among others.
Además, otro de los objetivos del proyecto es la creación de un Club de Bádminton en Parla, es por ello que pediremos la implicación de los participantes y les animaremos a que se asocien.
Es una gran oportunidad para los participantes ya que pueden formar parte, sin costo, de un club deportivo pionero, ya que sería el primer club de Bádminton del municipio de Parla
Como evento final del proyecto, se organizará una Jornada sobre Prevención de la Radicalización dirigida a profesionales del ámbito educativo y social, conjuntamente con la organización de un Maratón de Bádminton dobles mixto en el que podrá participar cualquier persona que se inscriba. La difusión de las Jornadas se realizará entre los Centros Educativos, Ayuntamientos, Centros de Jóvenes, Clubs Deportivos de la zona sur de la Comunidad de Madrid.
In addition, another of the objectives of the project is the creation of a Badminton Club in Parla, that is why we will ask for the involvement of the participants and we will encourage them to join. It is a great opportunity for the participants since they can be part, without cost, of a pioneering sports club, since it would be the first Badminton club in the municipality of Parla.
As for the final part of the project, between September and December, there will be several days of dissemination of the project that will take place in each of the institutes that collaborate with this sporting activity. In the participating institutes of the project, a talk on the prevention of radicalization in Europe will be organized (with the collaboration of the expert Police and the Parla authorities). In addition to this talk, videos summarizing the project (of the championship and workshops) as well as the experience of the winners in Brussels will be shown.
As a final event of the project, a Conference on the Prevention of Radicalization will be organized for professionals of the educational and social field, together with the organization of a mixed double badminton marathon in which any person who signs up will be able to participate. The diffusion of the Days will be carried out between the Educational Centers, City Councils, Youth Centers, Sports Clubs of the south zone of the Community of Madrid.
